Recently on the event of Computex 2018 held in Taipei, Hewlett Packard announced the HP ProBook x360 440 G1 with 14 inch display which will be quite budget friendly convertible laptop, the device will main attraction for the business users.

The HP ProBook x360 440 G1 will be powered by the with the entry level Intel Celeron 3865U CPU, with variants going up to the latest 8th gen Intel Core i7-8550U CPU. For graphics card, variant with integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 which is clocked at 300 to 1050 MHz is available.

The device has up to 16 GB of DDR4 2133 MHz RAM, for storage a M.2 slot is provided which can supports a 128 GB or 256 GB SATA drives or a 256 GB or 512 GB NVMe drives.

Display for the device comes in two options to choose from, both the display feature 14 inch FHD touch panel with only 67% of the sRGB color coverage on the first option, but the other one features 100% sRGB gamut coverage. Thus making the second option more preferable for creative content creation and office work.

The new ProBook weighs only 1.72 kg (3.8 lbs) with 330 x 232 x 19.8 mm (L x B x H) dimensions. In terms of connectivity, ProBook x360 440 G1 covers the basics. This device is fully covered in terms of ports, it has:

  • 1 USB 3.0 Type-C port
  • 2 USB 3.0 Type-A port
  • HDMI
  • SD card reader
  • Audio combo jack
  • Security lock slot.

HP ProBook x360 440 G1 will be available in the market from the end of this month with an expected starting price of $599.
