HP has released a powerful tablet ZBook x2 which the company says ”world’s first detachable workstation”. With HP ZBook x2 2 in 1 tablet the company is making a tough competition for Microsoft’s Surface series.
ZBook comes with a 14-inch LED-backlit anti-glare touchscreen with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels with 10 bit color. HP with Wacom made a stylus for ZBook x2 which offer 4,096 levels of sensitivity and respond instantly with zero latency. It has a backlit keyboard which when detached automatically connect via Bluetooth. It also, has 18 dedicated keys on either side of the tablet.
No doubt the tablet got the specification of a workstation with a quad-core?i7 processor, up to 4.2GHz. Also, with 32GB of RAM and 2TB of SSD storage and NVIDIA Quadro M620 graphics card. All this runs on Window 10 pro.
For connectivity, it has a HDMI port, USB Type-A, USB-C with Thunderbolt support, a smart card reader and an SD card reader. It also features a kickstand and a fingerprint sensor, 8MP rear camera and a 720p front camera are also provided.
The HP ZBook x2 has a 70Wh four-cell battery and weight 2.2Kg. Price of the ZBook x2 starts from $1,750 and will be available by starting December.
