Lenovo celebrated their 25th anniversary of the ThinkPad lineup by revealing a new Lenovo ThinkPad 25th anniversary edition, packed with every detail you want from a retro ThinkPad. From 1992, when Lenovo bought the ThinkPad from IBM, now 25 years passed but Lenovo maintained the ThinkPad details including 7-row keyboard, blue Enter key and red Track point along with some improvements like backlighting support and some serious upgrades in hardware. It also has classic rubberized coating and volume up down keys along with some status LED’s.
In terms of hardware, the new ThinkPad packs Intel core i7-7500U, 16 GB of DDR4 memory, 512 GB PCIe SSD, Nvidia GeForce 940MX with 2 GB GDDR5 memory and a 14 inch FHD 1920?1080 anti glare IPS display with multi-touch support. The speakers are Dolby Audio premium stereo speakers and Webcam is a 720p HD IR camera with dual array microphone.
