When everyone is waiting for the delayed release of Nvidia?s GTX 11 Series, Nvidia released a new model but not?GTX 11 Series, they released GTX 1050 line-up with 3GB memory. This GPU comes in the middle of the 2 GB GeForce GTX 1050 and the GeForce GTX 1050 Ti, the new Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 3GB is aimed for gamers who don’t want to upgrade from base model but also to get a taste of the Ti variants.
The GPU has a total of 768 CUDA cores, which is more when compared to the 2 GB model (640). Base clock speed and boost clock speed are both higher than the 2 GB and Ti models. However, but the GPU has 96-bit lower memory bus, 2 GB and Ti models have 128-bit, due to low memory bus the memory bandwidth is also low at 84 GB/s. According to an Nvidia spokesperson, the 3 GB of GDDR5 memory helps the new GPU to operate up to 10% quicker than the 2 GB model.
